Week 1

For our first week of actual work on our assesment; Remy, Shawnee, and I (Isabella being away sick) decided to organise a dance party for 13 - 16 year olds, held at a donated real night club "melbas" on the Gold Coast. This dance party raises money for World Vision. Pay on entry $20.
This is the best idea for us to raise money as it is what we know best about (being teenagers and all) We agree that by giving out what teenagers what in a dance party will attract a large number of people. We are have organised one free voucher to each person on entry good for one mocktail. (Alcohol free drinks) And good hip music, lights and security. What we thought would attract a larger number of people is the free drink, good music, lights, new people from all over the Gold Coast (a chance to make new friends) AND the fact that the dance party is being held in a REAL night club. Our target number of people is 500. Anyone who is uncapable of paying the $20 on entree will be taken off the premises. There will be numerus security guards keeping the party under strict control yet still let the teenagers have fun. Food will be provided by the nightclub.
